The Fractions Of Time

Just inside the fog
As the dawn begins to clear
A low growl is rumbling
Just outside the range to hear
Around the bend of the path
The underbrush grows fierce
The growl no longer far
It’s pitch behind to pierce
To travel into fear
Is a step to sometimes take
To live in it seems foolish
Old habits hard to break
When all is still
Up and down
Reveals no change

It’s beauty stands tall
Even after the destruction of all
It’s roots run deep
There’s memories to keep
It grows it leaves
But stays in the same place
Changing with the seasons
Within it’s own time and space
It’s branches may sway
Crackle and fall
But it’s beauty stands tall
Even after the destruction of all
How much water is there on, in, and above the Earth?
About 71 percent of the Earth’s surface is water-covered, and the oceans hold about 96.5 percent of all Earth’s water. But water also exists in the air as water vapor, in rivers and lakes, in icecaps and glaciers, in the ground as soil moisture and in aquifers, and even in you and your dog.

Go ahead….try to say the quote without using the voice from the movie…..
“The Symbol of all Art is the Prism. The goal is destructive. To break up the white light of objective realism into the secret glories it contains.”
― E.E. Cummings
In between the brightest white
And the darkest black
Lie the shades of the prism
Bending the light
Shaping the dark
Coloring our world
Between the sun of day
And the moons of night.
