YAY FOR ME!
And so close to Christmas….
I hear it is better to give than receive.
I was given the boot.
The gift that keeps on giving.
In the short time I have been without trabajo, I saw in the news that the Royal couple was visiting the states, and I thought to myself…
“Self….if they can come here and spread joy…why can’t you go there and spread some joy?”
Hmmm…
So I packed up my own royal couple and headed across the pond to help promote a great cause.

Yeah, the timing is the worst part. Finding a job so close to the end of the year is fairly bleak. It gives me time to regroup and decide on a path for the future, though. I may be down but never out.

PS–Seeing as you hate to spend money (centerpiece post), and you’re currently sans job, I thought of one of my favorite blogs, Mr. Money Mustache. He’s got a couple of posts that might be of interest on the job front (e.g., http://www.mrmoneymustache.com/2013/07/25/50-jobs-over-50000-without-a-degree-part-1/), and gobs of posts that are of interest, generally, for the frugal-minded. Who knows, maybe you’ll run across something that inspires. At the very least, he’s entertaining.
